This past weekend I attended the Kate Spade New York grand opening event in Kansas City. The turn out was great...actually too great. There were so many people at the store that it was actually hard to shop! I'll be heading back when it's not as crowded to get a better look. But the store itself was a masterpiece. Filled with bright jewel tones and vibrant decor. My preggo belly and I squeezed around the store checking as much out as I could and mingling with friends.
I wore a long sleeve maxi sweater dress from Anthropogie, J.Crew statement necklace & carried a sequin tote by Gap.
Coca-Cola for me, champagne for my friends, little macaroons for all!
The store is located at 321 Nichols Road, right next to the new Michael Kors shop on the Plaza.

ReplyDeleteAlso realizing that I will have to make the trip to Kansas City with Hubby soon....he just flew out of there today! He visits an office there at least once a month with his job, and he's always asking me to go along...he brought home a brochure/map of that shopping area - and I already thought there were so many great stores - I will be heading there soon, I am sure! Take care - get as much rest as you can. I sure remember that feeling of pressure on my lungs/ribs/heart! I slept on a zillion pillows sort of sitting up!! You're doing great!
